ZHUKOVSKY (Moscow region). July 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian state arms trader Rosoboronexport has signed a contract for the delivery of an extra batch of Mil Mi-171E helicopters to China during the MAKS 2017 international air show, the Rosoboronexport press service told Interfax-AVN.
"We have signed a contract for the delivery of an additional batch of Mi-171E transport helicopters and items for them to China. Our partners will receive four helicopters. The contract will be fulfilled in 2018," Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheyev was quoted as saying by the company's press service.
"In addition to that, during the MAKS 2017, we have concluded a contract with the Chinese side for the delivery of four VK-2500 advanced helicopter engines, which can be installed on Mi 17-type helicopters as part of a replacement of engines. We will deliver the engines in 2018," Mikheyev said.
