MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov has received Egyptian charge d'affaires in Moscow Shadi el-Sharkawi.
"During the conversation, the parties discussed several practical issues of bilateral agenda, including in light of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry's upcoming visit to Moscow," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Wednesday.
The exchange of views on a number of pending regional issues with an emphasis on the situation in Libya, as well as the prospects of the Middle Eastern settlement, also took place, it said.
