Russia complies with int'l obligations in military-technical cooperation with Iran - Rogozin

MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Russia strictly complies with its international obligations, in particular, in the field of military-technical cooperation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told Interfax.

"Every shipment of military equipment abroad invariably meets the restrictions imposed by the UN Security Council's sanctions lists," Rogozin said on Monday.

The newspaper Welt am Sonntag said with reference to sources in Western security services that Iran and Russia had breached the UN Security Council resolution prohibiting the delivery and maintenance of Iranian heavy offensive weapons by UN member countries.

"As to the report published by the esteemed German newspaper, its authors obviously have honesty problems and insufficient geographic knowledge," Rogozin said.
