MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended condolences to King Felipe VI of Spain over tragic consequences of the Thursday terrorist attack in downtown Barcelona, the Kremlin press service said.
"We resolutely condemn this cruel and cynical crime against civilians. What has happened once again proves the need for a real unification of effort of the whole international community in an uncompromising fight against terrorist forces," Putin said in a telegram of condolences.
Putin sympathized with relatives and beloved ones of those killed and wished the soonest recovery for all those injured in the Barcelona terrorist attack.
