YEREVAN. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has said that he did not discuss the issue of deploying peacekeepers to the Karabakh conflict zone at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We did not discuss the issue of peacekeepers. I presented the situation on the contact line and my perspective of our neighbor's [Azerbaijan's] intentions in a few words. There weren't any other similar discussions," the Armenpress news agency cited Sargsyan as saying at a meeting with participants in the Baze youth camp.
The meeting of the two counties' leaders took place in Sochi on August 23.
