MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry continues raising the technical serviceability of its fleet of Tupolev Tu-160 and Tu-95MS bomber aircraft, this area boasts positive dynamics, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said during a teleconference on Tuesday.
"Two issues are on the agenda. The first one concerns progress in efforts to raise the serviceability of Tu-160 and Tu-95MS aircraft. Regular discussion of this topic at teleconferences has borne fruit. Currently, there are signs of a positive dynamic in the raising of strategic missile carrier serviceability," he said.
The closed part of the teleconference will focus on growing the Russian orbital grouping of military satellites, Shoigu said.
