VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin have made a decision that it will be they who sign a peace treaty between the two countries.
"The most important thing for Japanese-Russian relations is conclusion of a peace treaty; President Putin said so during his visit to Japan. We have reached a new determination this time that we will sign a peace treaty with our own hands," Abe told reporters following the talks with Putin.
