ASTANA. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Members of the armed Syrian opposition have confirmed that they will attend the next meeting on Syria in Astana and will actively participate in these negotiations, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said.
"Representatives of the armed Syrian opposition have applied to Kazakhstan's consulate for entry visas. It means that, as it was last time, representatives of the armed Syrian opposition will take an active part in the next round of the Astana process dealing with the situation in Syria," Abdrakhmanov told reporters in Astana on Tuesday.
