MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will continue to develop and improve its nuclear forces in response to the United States' hostile policy, North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Jun said.
"We have developed and are improving our nuclear weapons as a means that can further deter the U.S.' hostile policy and protect peace on the Korean Peninsula from the danger of a nuclear war," Kim said at a press conference on Tuesday.
"Our possession of nuclear weapons is most just measure that we have chosen to prevent war on the Korean Peninsula and protect our country's interests and our country's rights against the policy of force and lawlessness used by the U.S., which has pursued a hostile policy toward our country for more than half a century," he said.
