MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Nine truce violations have been recorded in several Syrian governorates in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"Russian members of the joint Russian-Turkish commission investigating breaches of the cessation of hostilities have recorded six instances of gunfire in the past 24 hours," including four in the Aleppo governorate, one in the Damascus governorate, and one in the Daraa governorate, the Defense Ministry said on its website.
Turkish inspectors have registered three truce violations, including one in the Latakia governorate and two in the Damascus governorate, it said.
"Most instances of random small-arms fire were observed in areas held by fighters of the Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIL terrorist groups (banned in Russia)," it said.
