KOLOMNA, Moscow region. Sept 14 (Interfax) - The KBM engineering design bureau located in Kolomna, a leading Russian manufacturer of military hardware, has prepared proposals to build a modernized version of the Iskander-M tactical missile system, KBM General Designer Valery Kashin said.
"We have prepared proposals to develop the Iskander-M system further and passed them on to the Defense Ministry. They are currently undergoing formalization and clearance, but on the whole, they're being supported," Kashin, who turned 70 on Thursday, told journalists.
