Syrian opposition pledges to combat terror organizations - al-Jaafari

ASTANA. Sept 15 (Interfax) - The Syria truce guarantor countries and the Syrian armed opposition adopted a communique following the sixth meeting on Syria in Astana and pledged to further fight against the Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State terrorist organizations (both banned in Russia), Damascus delegation head Bashar al-Jaafari said.

"Those who participated in the session will have obligations to continue fighting against Daesh [an Arabic acronym for Islamic State], the al-Nusra Front and other terrorist groups outside the de-escalation areas as well," he said at a press conference following the sixth round of the talks on Syria in Astana.
