Ukraine ready for compromise over Donbas prisoner swap, hands over proposals, Kyiv says

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian side in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) told Donetsk and Luhansk representatives at a meeting in Minsk of its vision of prisoner release conditions, and is awaiting a reply, Darka Olifer, a press secretary for Ukraine's second president and TCG representative Leonid Kuchma, said.

"The Ukrainian within the humanitarian subgroup presented its vision to representatives from the breakaway Donetsk and Luhansk areas its vision of the conditions for release of Ukrainian hostages. Ukraine in turn is ready for compromise to get our citizens freed," Olifer wrote on Facebook after the TCG meeting in Minsk on Wednesday.

"We are awaiting a reply to this proposal from Russia and the breakaway parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions," Olifer said.
