MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Russia, the United Nations, and Syria have set up a trilateral mechanism in Damascus to provide humanitarian aid to Syrian population, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"A Russian-UN-Syrian trilateral mechanism have started working in Damascus, which is aimed at addressing urgent problems in providing the people's access to humanitarian aid," Zakharova said at a news briefing on Thursday.
The group has had two meetings, she said.
