One civilian, two militiamen killed in past week - DPR

DONETSK. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Three people have been killed in shelling in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in the past week, DPR senior defense representative Eduard Basurin said.

"The populated localities that suffered the most from the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces are Yasynuvata, Vasylivka, Spartak, Dokuchaevsk, Sakhanka, Zaichenko, Kominternove, and Donetsk, which left one civilian dead, one injured, and 20 houses damaged," Basurin said at a briefing on Friday.

Two DPR servicemen were killed and three injured over the past week, he said.

In all, Ukrainian troops violated ceasefire 278 times over the week, having launched 980 artillery and tank shells and 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds at the DPR, Basurin said.
