BAIKONUR. Oct 12 (Interfax) - The launch of the Progress MS-07 cargo spacecraft from Baikonur Cosmodrome has been postponed because of technical defects, a cosmodrome source told Interfax on Thursday.
"Tentatively, some technical defects were uncovered on the Soyuz 2.1A launch vehicle," the source said.
Preliminary findings indicate that defects could have emerged in the electric or flight control systems, but it is only a special commission that can make definitive conclusions as to why the launch has been postponed, he said.
"All the current conclusions are preliminary," he said.
