MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - The spacecraft GLONASS-M launched in late September has been put into operation, the satellite grouping has achieved global navigation coverage, a source in the space rocket industry told Interfax.
"The GLONASS-M satellite launched on September 22 has been put into operation. The Glonass grouping now has a total of 24 satellites, which is enough for global coverage with navigation signal," the source said.
