ASTANA. Oct 18 (Interfax) - The Astana talks have laid a foundation for Syria's ceasefire, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said while receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors on Wednesday.
"The Astana process has laid a foundation for ending violence in Syria and determining its fate after the end of the conflict," Nazarbayev said.
"These and other measures make a weighty contribution to the peace, security, and development of the entire world," he said.
