MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - The director of the North America Department at the North Korean Foreign Ministry, Choe Son Hui, has arrived in Moscow, a diplomatic source told Interfax.
"Yes, she arrived in Moscow last night," the source said.
On Monday, an informed source told Interfax that United States and North Korean diplomats are expected to be in Moscow this week, and contacts between them are not being ruled out.
"The U.S. Special Representative for the DPRK, Joseph Yun, and the director of the North America Department at the DPRK Foreign Ministry, Choe Son Hui, have been invited to the international non-proliferation conference and are expected to arrive in Moscow to attend it," the source said.
"It is not being ruled out that contact might take place between them on the sidelines of this forum," the source said.
Interfax does not yet have confirmation of this information from official sources.
The international non-proliferation conference in Moscow is due on October 19-21.
