MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Russian and Iranian diplomats have underlined the importance of pooling the efforts of the entire international community to fight terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi put emphasis on counterterrorism at a meeting on Thursday, it said.
"They underscored the importance of consolidating the efforts of the entire international community to counteract this global challenge exclusively in accordance with international law," the ministry said.
Syromolotov and Araghchi also discussed "the task of bolstering interaction within international organizations and bilateral issues of mutual interest," it said.
