MAGAS. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Two traffic police inspectors were injured as unidentified attackers assaulted a stationary traffic police post in the village of Yandare, Ingushetia; one of the attackers has been killed and the other injured, a local law enforcement source told Interfax.
"A car ran into two traffic police inspectors at the Karabulak stationary post at about 5:00 p.m. today, causing a leg injury to one of the officers. Then the driver came out of the car with a knife and attacked the other inspector, who used his service weapon following a fierce struggle. The attacker died on the spot from wounds he sustained," the source said.
The attacker also injured the traffic policeman, who has been hospitalized. "The second attacker has also been seriously injured. He is in the hospital now," the source added.
