NATO mission's success in Afghanistan impossible without cooperation with Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran - Kabulov

BRUSSELS. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Moscow does not think success of the NATO mission in Afghanistan is possible without cooperation with Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, India, and Central Asian countries, Zamir Kabulov, the Russian president's special representative for Afghanistan, said.

"As for the prospects, [Russia's permanent representative to NATO] Alexander Viktorovich [Grushko] and I clearly specified one thing: NATO's success is impossible in Afghanistan without honest and constructive cooperation with such regional powers as Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran in the first place, and other important regional players, such as Central Asian states and India," Kabulov said at a press conference following the meeting of the NATO-Russia Council.
