Germany and Georgia agree to exchange classified information

TBILISI. Nov 16 (Interfax) - An intergovernmental agreement between Tbilisi and Berlin on the exchange and non-dissemination of classified information was signed in Tbilisi on Thursday by Georgian State Security Service head Vakhtang Gomelauri and German ambassador Heike Peitsch.

"The agreement creates a legal foundation for classified information exchanges between the two countries not only in the sphere of bilateral international relations but also in other spheres," a Georgian State Security Service statement said.
