DPR leader Zakharchenko tells ombudsman to draw up prisoner exchange lists, agree on procedure with Kyiv (Part 2)

DONETSK. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The leader of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Alexander Zakharchenko, has instructed his ombudsman Darya Morozova to prepare for a prisoner exchange with Ukraine, a spokesperson for the DPR leader's administration told Interfax on Thursday.

"Only yesterday Alexander Zakharchenko, after speaking to Vladimir Putin, instructed DPR ombudsman Darya Morozova to prepare for an exchange of captives with Ukraine, clarify exchange lists and carry out all necessary procedures for its conduct," the spokesman said.

The next step is a prisoner swap with Ukraine, the DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko told Interfax. "We are swapping a number of captives, almost 300 people, which Ukraine must release. Now it is Ukraine's turn, if they do release the people on the list, whom they are ready to swap, then we are ready to make the swap," Zakharchenko said.
