MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Russian pilots performed over 500 combat flights and destroyed more than 1,250 terrorist sites in Syria over the past week, the Defense Ministry said in an infographic report in the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda.
The Aerospace Forces destroyed over 1,250 sites of international terrorist groups in Syria over the week, the ministry said.
Pilots flew more than 500 combat missions, it said.
Six Tu-22M3 strategic bombers performed combat flights, as well.
Russian drones performed more than 300 flights in Syria over that period and detected 432 of the militants' sites, the ministry said.
The demining operation in Deir ez-Zor came to an end; more than 44,780 explosive devices were neutralized, and 1,238 hectares of land and 246 kilometers of road were checked.
