Beijing to host Russian-Chinese computer-simulated missile defense drills - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Russia and China will hold their second joint computer-simulated missile defense exercise, dubbed Aerospace Security 2017, in Beijing from December 11 to December 16, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The goal of the event is to bolster the capabilities to react to accidental and provocative ballistic missile strikes through jointly practicing issues of planning and missile defense groups' actions, and also through organizing command and interaction. This exercise is not directed against any third countries," the Russian ministry said in a report shared with Interfax-AVN on Friday.
