MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - The Syrian opposition High Negotiations Committee (HNC) said it did not want the national dialogue congress in Sochi and intra-Syrian talks in Geneva to happen at the same time.
"You know that Geneva is on the 28th [of November], and it's till the 8th [of December]. So how could Sochi be in between? This is something we do not understand. They want people come from Geneva to Sochi and then go back to Geneva. It is like a game. And I think it is a cruel game," HNC advisor Yahya al Aridi told Interfax.
The HNC still has no plans to attend the congress, he said.
