Putin to continue his 'diplomatic marathon' for settling Syria situation - Peskov

VLADIVOSTOK. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin's 'diplomatic marathon' for settling the Syria situation will go on, the Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"President Putin undertook an eventful diplomatic marathon. It can be said that it will certainly continue, one way or another," Peskov said in an interview with Dmitry Kiselyov's Vesti Nedeli on the Rossiya 1 (VGTRK) television channel, when commenting on the talks Putin had on Syria in Russia's Sochi.

"A lot of work remains to be done," Peskov said.
