ASTANA/MINSK. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Belarus on November 29-30, the Kazakh leader's press service said on Tuesday.

"During the visit, Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the anniversary session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization [CSTO], a Belarusian-Kazakh business forum and other events," the press service said.

The Belarusian presidential press service said that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Nazarbayev would meet in Minsk on Wednesday to discuss issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

"On November 29 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will conduct official negotiations with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, who will pay an official visit to the Republic of Belarus on November 29-30," the press service said.

It is symbolic that this visit will take place during the year marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan, it said.

"The Independence Palace [in Minsk] is expected to host both narrow-format and expanded talks. The sides will discuss a wide range of issues concerning cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats," the press service said.

"The agenda for the talks includes steps to further promote trade and economic interaction, investment cooperation and industrial cooperation, efforts to develop transport and logistics infrastructure, and a lot of other promising avenues," it said.

"The heads of state are also expected to attend a Belarusian-Kazakh business forum," the press service said.
