MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed the situation surrounding North Korea, the outcomes of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's (CSTO) summit, as well as Russia's energy security, with permanent members of the Russian Security Council, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
"Energy security in regions was discussed in the context of the domestic Russian agenda and in light of the period of winter frosts, which has begun in the country," he said.
"Among international issues, the president informed the Security Council members on the outcomes of the CSTO summit, which was held in Minsk yesterday," Peskov said.
"The exchange of views on the situation in the Korean Peninsula following Pyongyang's recent ballistic missile test also took place," he said.
