Russian, Iranian parliamentarians to discuss anti-drug measures in Moscow on Tuesday - Slutsky

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - The foreign affairs committees of the State Duma and the Iranian parliament will meet on December 5 to discuss the fight against drugs and a memorandum of mutual understanding, which will be signed during State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin's visit to Tehran.

"We are scheduled to have a joint meeting of the foreign affairs committees of the State Duma and the Iranian parliament tomorrow. We will be discuss, among other things, the anti-drug dossier and a memorandum of mutual understanding we expect to be signed during the upcoming visit of the State Duma speaker to Tehran," the Chairman of the State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee, Leonid Slutsky, told reporters on Monday.

The reconstruction of Syria's infrastructure may also be addressed at the meeting, Slutsky said.
