KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian representatives to the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) have proposed setting up an ad hoc subgroup on the border issue to ensure that Ukraine regains control over its border with Russia, Darka Olifer, a spokeswoman for Leonid Kuchma, who represents Ukraine in the TCG, said.
"Our representatives to the political subgroup have raised the issue of Ukraine retaking control over the part of the Russian-Ukrainian border not controlled by Ukraine, especially by creating a special subgroup on border [issues]," Olifer wrote on her Facebook page after the TCG meeting in Minsk on Tuesday.
