Lavrov to hold trilateral talks with Indian, Chinese counterparts in Delhi

MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold negotiations with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Delhi on December 11, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

This will be the 15th meeting in the Russia-India-China format.

The ministers plan to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, in the Middle East and on the Korean Peninsula, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"Special significance will be attached to problems of the fight against terrorism, illegal drug trafficking, and international information security," she said.

Lavrov also intends to have a bilateral meeting with Wang on the sidelines of the RIC meeting, she said.
