MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax) - The Russian step-by-step plan to settle the Korean crisis is the only sound alternative to crisis scenarios for the Korean Peninsula, Russia's Ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Alexander Matsegora told UN Under-Secretary-General Jeffrey Feltman, who is visiting Pyongyang.
He was asked by Feltman to share the Russian Foreign Ministry's assessment of the current situation on the peninsula.
"Concurrently, the guest was briefed in more detail, in the local context, of the Russian step-by-step plan for Korean settlement. Matsegora stressed that, essentially, this plan is the only reasonable alternative to the crisis scenarios of subsequent developments," the Russian Embassy to the DPRK said on Facebook after the meeting.
