MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Palestine opening embassies in several countries in response to Washington's decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem would be a violation of existing agreements, but this poses no danger, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Gary Koren said on Thursday.
"As for attempts to somehow balance out [the situation], we do not see it as a threat," Koren told a press conference in Moscow when asked about Israel's reaction to certain countries potentially opening Palestinian embassies on their territory.
Such a decision would run counter to the existing Oslo accords with the Palestinians, he said.
"In theory, this would be a violation of this agreement, which is supported by global community, including the United States and Russia," Koren said.
