Interior Ministry's chief criminal expert Grishin accused of embezzling over 90 mln rubles arrested until Feb 5 - court ruling

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - The Basmanny district court of Moscow has ordered the arrest of Lieut. Gen. Pyotr Grishin, the head of the Interior Ministry's criminology expert center accused of having embezzled over 90 million rubles in public funds, until the beginning of February next year, an Interfax correspondent reported.

"The court concluded that the investigator's request should be granted (...) To remand the accused Grishin in custody until February 5, 2018," judge Natalia Dudar ruled on Thursday.
