Kyiv, Donetsk report ceasefire breaches, civilian casualty

KYIV/DONETSK. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Kyiv and Donetsk have again traded ceasefire accusations.

The staff of the Ukrainian army operation in Donbas said on Facebook on Tuesday that Ukrainian positions came under 22 attacks over the day, with no resulting casualties.

The army returned fire using weapons permitted by the Minsk Agreements whenever the life and health of troops was in danger, the staff said.

In turn, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told the press about the Ukrainian army's attack on Dokuchayevsk. A civilian born in 1955 was wounded, and four homes, gas mains, and a gasoline station were damaged, he said.

"Today, on December 12, in the period between 10:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Moscow time, the Ukrainian army fired infantry combat vehicle weapons (twice), RPG grenade launchers (six times), AGS grenade launchers (ten times), heavy weapons, and small arms on Dokuchayevsk from the side of Novotroitske," he said.
