Syrian Kurds favor withdrawal of all foreign forces from Syria in future

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Members of the armed wing of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), a Kurdish party in Syria, believe that all foreign forces should leave Syria in the future.

"We think sooner or later the foreign force will withdraw from Syria, but they should support in positive ways the democratic Syrian groups," a spokesperson for PYD's people's self-defense units told Interfax on Tuesday in commenting on Russia's decision to conclude the military operation in Syria and withdraw most of its forces from the country.

Syrian Kurds are among the leading forces fighting ISIL [banned in Russia] and other terrorist groups in Syria.
