MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - The S7 company is ready to resume Sea Launch missions in 2019, according to a presentation given by S7 General Director Vladislav Filyov in Moscow.
There are plans to resume launches in 2019, and S7 will place orders for 12 launch vehicles in the period through 2023.
The Sea Launch program has been resumed with the assistance of Roscosmos and Energia Corporation, Filyov said.
"We say that we wish to resume the activity of this complex [Sea Launch]. In the initial period of four to five years, we would like to launch two or three rockets [a year] before we begin using a new rocket, which is being discussed with the Roscosmos administration," he said.
