BELAYA AIRFIELD (Irkutsk region). Dec 13 (Interfax) - Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombers engaged in the Syria campaign have arrived in the Irkutsk region, the Russian Defense Ministry's information and mass communications department said in a statement.
"Crews of Tupolev Tu-22M3 strategic bombers have been relocated from an airfield in North Ossetia to their base in the Irkutsk region following successful airstrikes on terrorist targets in Syria," the statement said.
The bombers made a stopover in the Saratov region for refueling, it said.
