MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Russia is ready to consider the possibility of softening the weapons embargo on Libya, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said.
"We are ready to constructively consider the possibility of softening the weapons embargo on Libya, based on the real situation," Gatilov told Interfax on Wednesday.
Such a possibility may be considered "when a relevant request is made to the UN sanctions committee," he said.
