ASTANA. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The defense ministries of Kazakhstan and France have signed a cooperation plan in Astana.
The document was signed at the end of Kazakh Defense Minister Saken Jasuzakov's meeting with new French Ambassador in Astana Philippe Martinet, the Kazakh Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The interlocutors conferred on the priorities of bilateral cooperation in the field of military education, peacekeeping, and interaction between verification services, the ministry said.
"A plan of military cooperation between the two defense ministries was signed at the end of the meeting," it said.
