MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Specialized engineering equipment and motor vehicles have been withdrawn from Syria to Russia, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry's information and mass communications department told Interfax on Thursday.
"Specialized engineering equipment, motor vehicles, and gear of the Russian Armed Forces' International Mine Action Center have been loaded on ships. Countermine vehicles, BTR-82AM armored personnel carriers, Taifun and Rys motor vehicles, specialized engineering equipment, and Uran-6 robotic complexes were loaded [on the ships] at the Navy's technical support and logistics center (in Tartus, Syria)," the spokesman said.
