Moscow does not mind peacekeeping mission in Donbas but with consent of LPR, DPR - Peskov

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - Moscow does not mind the deployment of a peacekeeping mission to the conflict zone in southeastern Ukraine on the condition this deployment is accepted by the self-proclaimed Donbas republics, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"Russia and President Putin do not mind the deployment of a peacekeeping mission, which will ensure security of the OSCE mission. Putin says though that the mission cannot be deployed without the issue being coordinated between the conflicting parties," Peskov said.

"The conflicting parties are Kyiv, for one part, and the two unrecognized Donbas republics, for the other part," he said.
