KYIV. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Four people have been wounded after the enemy fired multiple rocket launchers in the village of Novoluhanske in the Bakhmut District of Donetsk region, the head of the region's civil-military administration, Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, said.
As of 6:35 p.m., "eight houses have been identified which took a direct hit. Three of them have burned down, two [fires] were put out and the third one is still being tackled. Four people - two women and two men - were wounded. They are being treated in the Bakhmut and Svitlodarsk hospitals. One person was heavily injured and is now being undergoin an operation," Zhebrivskyi wrote on his Facebook page.
He warned that there was a likelihood of another enemy strike on the village. "The people were warned and are hiding in shelters," Zhebrivskyi wrote, adding that the operational headquarters is operating.
In addition, power lines in the village have been damaged, he said.
