KOROLYOV. Dec 19 (Interfax) - The crew of the Soyuz MS-07 manned spaceship, which took off from Baikonur on Sunday, has entered the International Space Station (ISS), an Interfax correspondent reported from the Mission Control Center.
The airtightness of the docking module was checked and the pressure inside the spaceship and the ISS was leveled before the crew opened the hatch and entered the ISS.
Roscosmos' Anton Shkaplerov, NASA's Scott Tingle, and JAXA's Norishige Kanai were greeted by Roscosmos' Alexander Misurkin and NASA's Joseph Acaba and Mark Vande Hei.
U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman watched the hatch open live.
The Russian cosmonauts have a vast research program ahead of them.
