Russia to accept whatever Belgrade and Pristina decide on Kosovo - Putin

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Moscow will continue efforts to ensure Serbia's sovereignty, and on the issue of Kosovo will accept any mutually acceptable resolution reached by Belgrade and Pristina, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Russia will continue to support Serbia in terms of ensuring its sovereignty and territorial integrity," Putin told a press conference on Tuesday after talks with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.

"As regards Kosovo, we believe that the situation there should be settled politically, through dialogue between the parties, in accordance with the UN SC resolution N1244," Putin said.

"[Moscow] will support any mutually acceptable decision reached between Belgrade and Pristina," he said.
