MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The United States' current approach will not be able to rearrange the Iran nuclear deal, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Saturday.
"Surely, you can steamroll the JCPOA structure like a bulldozer, but this won't improve its structure," Ryabkov said in an interview with Interfax.
"It cannot be somehow reconstructed using a bulldozer," he said.
"It's strange that our counterparts in the U.S. don't realize such obvious things. But perhaps they are used to such approaches," he said.
"In reality, what is happening in terms of the constantly growing number of organizations, individuals, and countries targeted for American sanctions on various pretexts shows that the American foreign policy keeps becoming more primitive," Ryabkov said.
