Int'l community should consolidate to oppose U.S. 'political-legal lawlessness' - Ryabkov, in commenting on U.S. Iran sanctions

MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Moscow sees Washington's decision to expand the list of Iranian individuals and organizations subject to sanctions as political-legal lawlessness, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Saturday.

"The U.S. has once again clearly demonstrated its foreign political indiscriminateness and insolence. In this situation, the international community should mobilize in the proper sense of the word, close its ranks and try to put a barrier on the way of America's political-legal lawlessness," Ryabkov said in an interview with Interfax.

"Yesterday's sanction package including 14 individuals and legal entities has been put together based on what is called the every-little-bit-helps principle in that it includes organizations and people from different countries and regions," he said.
