NEW YORK. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Russia will continue helping Afghanistan strengthen its armed forces, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
"We will continue helping Kabul with training national civilian and law enforcement forces and strengthening the combat capabilities of the armed forces of Afghanistan," Lavrov said at a UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan.
